SDKC PARK RULES

The penalty for violation of any of the following rules and/or regulations is immediate expulsion from the park and revocation of the privilege of use of the SODDY DAISY KIDS CLUB facilities.
A. The sale, use, or possession of alcoho lic beverages is prohibited on SODDY DAISY KIDS CLUB property.
B. The possession or use of firearms is prohibited on SODDY DAISY KIDS CLUB property. (exception is made for law enforcem ent officials while acting in an official capacity).
C. The possession or use of bb guns, air rifles, flips, sling shots or any other projectile launching device on SDKC property is prohibited.
D. No pets, leashed or otherwise, are a llowed to be brought on to SODDY DAISY KIDS CLUB property. (exception is made for seeing eye dogs.)
E. No recreational vehicles are allowed to be brought on to SODDY DAISY KID CLUB property. This includes trail bikes, dirt bikes, go carts, three wheelers, fourwheelers, or any other vehicle which could be us ed to damage the fields or property if the vehicle were used without constant adult supervision.
F. Fighting, involving physical attack by one individual upon another, is prohibited. All fights or rumors of fights must be investigated and acted upon by the SDKC executive board.
G. Arguments, between individuals, using loud profanity or abusive terms or language is prohibited.
H. The sale, possession, or use of illegal drugs on SODDY DAISY KIDS CLUB property is prohibited.
I. There may be times when you disagree with an umpire or referee's decision, but
continued, forceful, antagonistic disagreement is prohibited.
J. Profanity in any form is prohibited due to children being ever present. Profanity is defined as any word, term, phrase or gesture which would not be socially acceptable to be used in a first grade elementary school classroom.
K. Parents, spectators, or fans may not, under any circumstance, enter the playing field while a game is in progress. (exception: if a child is hurt during the game, a parent may enter the field if needed.)
L. No unauthorized vehicles within the fenced area of the park.
M. In order to operate any vehicle within the park, operator must have a valid driver’s license.
N. No bicycles, rollerblades, roller-skates, skateboards, etc. allowed within the fenced area of the park.
O. Sales and/or solicitation of any type are prohibited on SDKC property unless as part of a function of SDKC.
P. Park at your own risk, SDKC is not responsible for any vehicles or personal property that are damaged.

I herby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for my child
participating in youth sports by following this code of ethics.
*I will encourage good sportsmanship by demons trating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, or other youth sports events.
*I will place the emotional and physical well being of my child ahead of any personal desire to win.
*I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.
*I will provide support for coaches and officials working with my child to provide an enjoyable experience for all.
*I will demand a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free sports environment for my child.
I agree to smoke only in designated areas of the park.
*I will remember that the game is for the children and not the adults.
* I will do my very best to make youth sports fun for my child.
* I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect
regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability.
*I will promise to help my child enjoy the sports experience within my personal constraint by assisting with coaching, being a respectful fan, providing transportation, or whatever I am capable of doing.
Consent and Release
*I understand that my child/dependent will be engaged in strenuous activity and for this reason certify that he/she is in good health and able to participate in all activities.
*I further acknowledge that some sports include either intentional or incidental contact and that injury even with proper protective gear and proper coaching techniques is possible.
*I agree that the participant and I will abide by the rules a nd by-laws of SDKC.
*I am aware of the risks and hazards incidental to such participation and assume all risks associated with such participation and do herby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the parents, local leagues, Board of Directors, coaches, Soddy Daisy Kids Club, organizers, sponsors, supervisors, league officers, commissioners, and all participants from all claims arising out of injury.
